My name is Preston Rinne and I will be starting my second year of pre-theology at Conception Seminary College. I grew up in Higginsville, MO and attended Mass at St. Mary's Parish.
During my high school years, I never really thought about becoming a priest. So after I graduated from high school, I went to the University of Missouri to study to become a doctor. While at college, I became more involved at church with campus ministry. I began to feel Our Lord calling me to the priesthood. I decided to answer the call and entered the seminary after I graduated from college.
I am very thankful for the many gifts God has given me, especially the prayers and support of my family and friends and the many priests I have met who are great role models. I am looking forward to serving the people of our diocese as a seminarian and in the future, God willing, as a priest.
