"Wow, Jeff, you are entering the seminary? I guess it's better late than never!" This is a common quote I hear after I tell people that I'm entering the seminary. I prefer to think of it as the "Right" time, not too early or too late. In examining my life I can see that God has been calling me since childhood through the experiences he has allowed me such as a strong and loving Christian family, the wonderful Christian communities I have experienced throughout my life, both great trial and great joys and a lifetime of sacraments. These experiences have prepared me to answer this call.
I currently am studying at Mundelein Seminary. I grew up in Sugar Creek, MO and was a member of St. Ann's and St. Cyril's Parishes. I attended grade school at St. Ann's in Independence, MO. My freshman year of high school was at St. John's Seminary and I finished high school at Van Horn in Independence. I earned a B.S. in Fisheries and wildlife at Missouri University.
