I
am in my second
year of theology at Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell,
Connecticut. My birthday is September 24, 1949.
I attended Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary grade school in
Independence, Missouri. It was there that my vocation first took
root. For high school I attended St. John's minor seminary where
the Vincentian priests served as good role models over the years--at
least in my memory--of what a priest should be. I graduated from
what is known as Benedictine College "magna cum laude."
My longest jobs were at Ward Parkway Mall which spanned most of
the 1990's, and at the WalMart supercenter in Cameron, Missouri from
2000 until 2006, at which time I re-entered the seminary.
I like baseball, both as a spectator and a participant, and
for exercise I like distance running, albeit slowly. For
recreation I like golden oldies music, my favorite station being
WLNG 92.1 FM in Sag Harbor, New York-- just down the road from the
seminary.
