Mission Statement
The Office of Stewardship and Development promotes the mission
of the diocese by educating diocesan members
to respond to the call of discipleship through stewardship
of time, talent and treasure. The office and staff will serve as
a resource for diocesan and parish fund raising, capital campaign consultation
and the educational endowment.
Vision Statement
Stewardship is a total way of life. It is based on the belief that
we are co-creators with a gracious God and accountable to God for our use
of the gifts of time, talent and treasure. Most fund raising starts with
the institution's needs. Stewardship starts with the personal need of each
disciple to give.
Unless we are returning to the Lord, the giver of all
our gifts, a truly grateful share of our time, talent and treasure, our
gratitude for these gifts is a matter of words only. —
