2012 Ordinations to the Priesthood

Predictably the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is packed for ordinations to the priesthood and the diaconate. This year's priestly ordination class of six men presents a happy problem that hasn't been faced in decades.

On Saturday, May 19, seating will be at a premium for the 10 a.m., Rite of Ordination to the Priesthood of transitional deacons the Rev. Mr. Kevin Drew, Adam Haake, Adam Johnson, Benjamin Kneib, Ian Murphy, and Darvin Salazar. To assist with the capacity crowd, DST Systems has offered its 12th Street parking garage. Guests may enter the garage located on the north side of 12th Street, just east of Broadway.

As most of the seating is reserved for relatives of the men, consider offering your well-wishes at their First Masses of Thanksgiving.
