I am a graduate of Archbishop O'Hara High School, I transferred to Conception Seminary from Missouri State in Springfield.

Believe me, even today Christ chooses the most unlikely people to drop their nets and follow Him. So much of my call was a mystery to me. I said, "Jesus I'm too young...I'm not very smart...I'm too sinful a man," but He never bit. It is true that He doesn't seek the wise or the wealthy but asks us to simply trust and follow Him. If your call is a mystery like mine, listen and pray with the humble heart of our Blessed Mother. Don't be afraid to trust in God and say yes to so great a call, as did She, even if you can't fully comprehend everything. Don't forget that you are not alone out there! What better place is there to discern, listen, and pray than in a seminary where you'll find many other men who our Lord has called in a similar way.
