BISHOP'S ANNUAL APPEAL AUDIO IN SPANISH
In St. Paul’s letter to the Corinthians, we are reminded of our longing for unity, with these words “We though many, Are one body.”
“Dear Friends, this is Bishop Finn, and I ask you to look around your church this morning and witness the many ways we are all one body. In times of great joy we gather for Baptisms or Weddings. Your parishes and community come together in time of great sorrow to bury your beloved dead or respond to your neighbors in need. We are all one body.”
In recent months we have had great challenges, yet in the midst of it all, our faith remains strong. I come to you today to ask for your help on behalf of those in need. Historically this diocese has been a beacon of hope in Western Missouri. The mission of the church is as important as ever.”
