Faithful Citizenship

Our United States was founded on the principle of “freedom of religion”, not “freedom from religion”.  As faithful Catholics we have a moral obligation to contribute to the creation of public policy.  Once we take the time to understand the legal boundaries, this can be done without concern for the separation of church and state and without fear of losing an IRS tax status.

Furthermore, it must be a part of “who” we are and “how” we are, not just a part of what we do once every two or four years.  As faithful Catholics, we need to educate ourselves on what we mean by "faithful citizenship" .
