The Rural Life Council educates and assists rural parishes and communities as they deal with economic and social change in rural Missouri. The structure of agriculture no longer favors independent farmers, so rural communities in Missouri are challenged to transition to different ways of livelihoods and economic development. Catholic principles of economic justice, compassion, sustainability, and respect for human dignity guide our work in assisting rural communities in creating hope for their future.
