Human Rights Office
Educate. Advocate. Evangelize.
The Human Rights Office educates, advocates and evangelizes according to the social teachings of the Church, as articulated by the Holy Father and through the specific instructions of the Bishop.
In addition to resourcing parishes, the office works collaboratively with other Catholic agencies and other organizations on anti-poverty efforts both domestic and overseas. Our mission is accomplished through the faithful works of staff, along with dedicated volunteers who serve on the commission and committees.

Prayer to Mary - Pope Benedict XVI
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
you have given the world its true light,
Jesus, your son - the Son of God.
You abandoned yourself completely
to God's call and thus became a wellspring
of the goodness which flows forth from him.
Show us Jesus. Lead us to him.
Teach us to know and love him,
so that we too can become capable of true love
and be fountains ofliving water

and be fountains ofliving water
in the midst of a thirsting world.
