Ruth Prats has been involved in Church ministry for 38 years and is currently a Pastoral Associate and Coordinator of Ministries at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Covington, Louisana in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. She is also on the team that represents the Association for Catechumenal Ministry (ACM) in developing and presenting RCIA models and workshops. She is one of the co-authors of the On the Journey Series for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults: RCIA Leader's Manual, RCIA Participants Manual, Catechist's Manual and RCIA Godparent and Sponsor Handbook. She has been to our diocese to offer a workshop in 2009 and was very well received.
Deacon Ralph Wehner, Director, Office of Worship for the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph also presented in both workshops. His background in sacred liturgy and his preview of the New GIRM and Third Roman Missal was very helpful to all who attended.
