Quarterly Adult Faith Formation Workshops

Quarterly Adult Faith Formation Workshops
Purpose:
1) Support our AFF Teams in parishes and all those who work in the area of Adult Faith Formation.
2) Provide opportunities for dialogue between parishes and a time for sharing faith spiritual formation programs, methods, marketing skills and prayer.
3) Our most recent workshop was attended by 39 persons representing 12 parishes and contained reports by three adult faith formation teams (St. Andrew the Apostle, St. Gregory Barbarigo and St. Francis Xavier) and much lively discussion.

“. . . evangelization begins with adult faith formation that produces conversions of heart. We seek to enhance and develop parishes that are centers for adult faith formation. We seek to form adults who utilize to the fullest extent their Baptismal graces and Eucharistic communion to become apostles, sent by Christ into the world. Nourished by the Word of God, the sacraments and communal life, they will share the Gospel in their homes, neighborhoods, places of work and centers of culture” (Bishop Robert W. Finn, 2007).
