Pastoral Councils Workshop
PASTORAL COUNCIL WORKSHOP with Fr. Bruce Nieli, CSP, will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at St. Therese (North) Parish 7207 N.W. Hwy. 9, Mo. 6415 .

Fr. Bruce Nieli is a Paulist father and evangelist and missionary at St. Patrick's parish in the Memphis diocese. He is much in demand as a speaker and has given many, many workshops.
Father Nieli was ordained in 1973 in New York City. He received a master's degree in pastoral counseling from Iona College in 1979. He founded the Center for Spiritual Development of the Archdiocese of New York and directed it from 1979 to 1983. He then moved to Texas and worked for 10 years in evangelization in several dioceses and on the state level.
An accomplished author, Father Nieli was the principal writer of Mission: Texas, the Texas Catholic Bishops' pastoral letter on evangelization. He wrote the draft for the Papal talk on Parish Life given by Pope John Paul II at Plaza Guadalupe in San Antonio, Texas in 1987. His syndicated column, "Praying with the Church," appeared in many diocesan newspapers from 1986-1993.
He was the Director of the Office of Evangelization for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops between 1994-1996. He was elected to a four-year term on the Paulist Fathers' General Council in 2002.
