Essential Catholicism 2

This course continues the study of the Creed in Part 1 (Section 2, Chapter 3) of the catechism. Our knowledge of God becomes more complete aswe consider the person and work of the Holy Spirit. We will discuss the Mystery of Christ’s life,death, and resurrection which allow each of us to enter into a relationshipwith God. We see the Virgin Mary as a reflection of God’s grace and herrole as Mother of the Church. This course will also discuss the natureand mission of the Church and the Four Last Things: Death, Judgment, Heaven andHell. Finally, we discuss the Resurrection of the Body and EverlastingLife with the purpose of helping students to find an increase in the virtue ofhope. | ![]() Madonna in Sorrow |
