Church History I

Part I of Church History is designed to trace and analyze the history of the Christian Church from its foundation by Jesus Christ in the first century to about the year 1450, shortly after the beginning of the Renaissance. Although the major secular influences which impacted the Catholic Church are examined, special emphasis is placed upon the movement of the Holy Spirit to aid the Church when in crisis, protect her when in harm’s way, and to ever increase and enhance her understanding of the central mysteries of the Christian faith.
